susan's nameless socks

ain't they cute? i intend to give these to my younger daughter who is due to deliver the first week of april. i'm Sure she will be cold in the hospital, and be sure there are things on various needles for Vivi, too.

after the storm

needletart posted in to ask me if i were alright after the storm. I am. the storms were further south. Frightening, to know that a storm can sweep in " 'round midnite", folks wake up to a very different world.
something to think about. our caves are a bit better than they usta be but we are still just an inch or so inside of the great outdoors. remember those commericals? it's not nice to fool with mother nature. Lady, we ain't trying to fool ya'. just trying to stay warm and dry.
